Erik Lamela conned Jon Moss to win Spurs’ penalty at Anfield (Picture: Liverpool FC)

Tottenham stars Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Erik Lamela were all accused of diving in the side’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool and new footage shows the latter deliberately conning referee Jon Moss.

Mohamed Salah looked to have secured a victory for Liverpool in the 91st minute as the Egyptian forward slalomed past several Spurs defenders before slamming the ball past a hapless Hugo Lloris.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side were awarded a penalty at the death after Virgil van Dijk was adjudged to have fouled Lamela inside Liverpool’s penalty area at Anfield.

Harry Kane converted the resulting spot-kick – after missing an earlier penalty – and Lamela was widely accused of simulation after the match.

Lamela protested his innocence after the Premier League clash but new footage shows the winger deliberately conning referee Moss.

Pictures show that Lamela was initially getting back to his feet before he dropped to the ground again when he noticed Moss asking linesman Edward Smart for a second opinion.

Asked about the incident after the draw, Lamela insisted: ‘He definitely caught me because it hurt afterwards.

‘Maybe he meant to play the ball and not catch me; I’d need to see it again on TV.

‘It was a crazy game. When I came on, we were really pushing for the equaliser and just about everything that could have happened, did happen, and in the final few minutes, too.

‘We could have won, we could have lost, but in the end it was a deserved point.’
