Common Name: Sky Blue Sage

Description:

Salvia chamaedryoides, commonly known as Sky Blue Sage has indigo blue flowers on soft, aromatic, finely textured sage leaves, can spread in low growing clumps over time to get up to 4 feet wide or more. We like to freshen it up with a hard pruning once or twice a year, in between masses of flowerings and during the warm season. Very good for a native or natural look, and especially good in cold mountain climates. A good drought tolerant selection as well. Hardy to below 0° F.
