PANAMA CITY BEACH — The Fourth of July holiday weekend is a busy time for people like Cody Redmond.

Redmond is a captain for the Sea Screamer, a tour boat in Panama City Beach, and he already was loading a boatful of tourists Friday morning. He said business has been steady leading up to the holiday weekend, the busiest time of the year for Sea Screamer.

“Having all the different fireworks displays is really good this year because now instead of now just running one fireworks cruise, we can run multiple fireworks cruises,” he said. “The Navy base, the bay, Sheraton (Bay Resort) has a fireworks display and the lagoon here, too. ... The weather looks good, too. I think it’s 20 percent chance of rain for the next few days, so that’s good.”
