We got the lowdown on Mad Men hair a couple of weeks ago, but now we have the scoop on Betty Draper's signature nighttime look straight from the head of makeup for the show, Lana Horochowski. "Although she is a housewife, Betty is an ex-model, so her makeup is clean but very current for the period," Horochowski says. "Evening Betty goes a little thicker on the liner and a brighter lipstick, but always coordinated with her clothing." To get the look pictured above, Horochowski evened out January Jones' skin with M.A.C. Cream Colour Base in Virgin Isle then brightened her cheeks with M.A.C. Blushcreme in Posey. To achieve the bright lips, she first colored them in with M.A.C. Lip Pencils in Redd and Cherry and then layered on the coral M.A.C. Lipstick in Vegas Volt. The result: a look we're mad about.
