Over the past year, I, like pretty much everyone else in America, have been thinking about paring down the many material possessions in my life. both classic and practical. Bensimon is a French apparel company that dates back to the 1940s; the company introduced its simple canvas and leather tennis shoes in the ’80s, and Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot were
among the fans. The sneakers will look great with jeans and a sweater on a cold day or a trench and a floral dress when spring hits.
