The grounds are beautiful and everything looks like it was completely remodeled after hurricane Michael. Great low density complex. You park right in front of the unit, so you don’t have to worry about parking garages or waiting on elevators like you do in the high rise condos.

We stayed at Largo Mar in February. Everything in the complex has been updated (new roofs, new stucco and paint, and new drywall, windows and doors in all units). The grounds includes a pool and hot tub. Many of the units that are not right on the beach have partial ocean views, and the complex also has a large deck with chairs that anyone can walk down to. The best part was how clean everything was. The property is also gated.

My husband & I stayed at Largo Mar in PCB in Oct. My husband is disabled in a wheelchair. The condo was great, very nice and right on the beach. The managment co. the we rented from is RESORT DESTINATIONS. Beware of them. We got home & I got and email from resort Destinations saying they were keeping my deposit for all the damage we did. WHAT? Of course we did not break anything. So I told them I would hire a lawyer and we would find out who was lying. The housekeeper? The owner? The people that manage the place? Someone may have broke these things, but it was not us, we were just the next unlucky persons to rent the place. So they thought OH OK, lets just PIN it on them. This is very WRONG to accuse people when they knew good & well that the damage was done before hand. I was told to look around for damages, but how the heck was I suppose to know the coffe table had once had a pc of glass on it, it looked like a regular table to me, How can you report something that you didnt know happened. Has this happened to anyone else that rented from RESORT Destinations?? Beware of this management CO.

Response from pcbbmw, Front Office Manager at Largo Mar Townhouse Condominiums
Responded Dec 16, 2010
While I understand your frustration, please do not group all Largo Mar rental townhouses together. As the On Site Rental Office, Coastal Property Services, INC. does not manage all of the townhouse condos at the Largo Mar location. Each unit is individually owner, and it is up to the owner whom they choose to manage the unit for them. Largo Mar is a great family friendly complex with good amenities, and close to various attractions; golf, marinas, putt-putt, go carts, St. Andrews State Park, and has some of the deepest sugary white sandy beach areas. There is plenty of space for all guesst to enjoy a spot on the beach. Please give Largo Mar another try in the future, and consider using a different Property Management Company.

We recently returned from a quick trip to PCB. The grounds at Largo Mar are nice, as well as the pool and hot tub.
We were disappointed that we rented unit 140.
It has filthy carpet, lacks supplies, outdated disaster. Towel racks and hand rails to upstairs are falling off of walls.
Other units within complex were seen and had been upgraded, yet this unit has not.
The dishwasher made horrible grinding noises and was missing rollers to load the racks. Most condos I have rented have at least have salt/pepper, extra paper towels, and trash bags--- not here. Even the cookie sheet was a rusted piece of trash that should have been thrown away. There are no overhead lights in upstairs bedroom and the mirror in bathroom is damaged due to age. Cabinetry is the same old white laminate that was original to unit and some doors won't close. Amazed that I had to place a security deposit on this place.
If you stay at Largo Mar, you will enjoy the location and pool area---- but investigate and find another rental unit.
It is my opinion that unit 140 should be removed from the rental program until the owner can update sufficiently.

The complex was beautiful the unit was hideous! Roach droppings galore, air conditioner unit would not cool properly, toilets were broken, ice maker & water dispenser to refrigerator did NOT work, refrigerator did NOT cool properly and frozen items would NOT freeze. An upper cabinet door in the kitchen fell and hit me in the head, the grill was left dirty and ALL of the blinds were outdated, brittle & broken. The upper deck in the master had splinters and exposed nails. The screen door was detached and on the deck floor. There were dead bugs in the shower and when the water was turned on RUST spouted out. ALL patio furniture is cracked and broken. ALL of the sliding doors were extremely hard to open and the dry wall is falling off on the bottom deck. The televisions did NOT work and there was no remote for the guest bedroom. We do NOT recommend this unit and we VERY upset with the lack of concern from the staff and condo owner. The only pleasant thing I have to say about Unit 102 at Largo Mar is that we checked out and will NOT return nor will we refer ANYONE. Vicki Trawick and Largo Mar staff, you should be ashamed...

We stayed at unit #129. We had everything we needed. Our view was the pool and hot tub from our balcony. It was a very short walk to the beach. It is a gated community and we felt very safe there. Great for families! Cindy was great to work with on making our reservations. I would definitely stay there again!

We have been going to Largo mar since I was a child. I now take my kids and it's the perfect place for family vacations. No streets to cross, just walk right on the deck to the beach. The pool, hot tub & shuffle board area are great for fun when you're sick of the beach. It's great to rent these units and buy groceries and save a little money during the week. You can grill out, eat in, and go out when you feel the urge. Some of the units are more updated than others, they are independently owned and rented out in most cases, but the new owner of the condo unit seems to be causing prices to skyrocket from what we have been accustomed to over the years. We will return again; however, as it's the ideal spot for family trips with kids & siblings. Hard to beat this place.

Stayed in unit #165 which is a 3 bedroom townhouse directly on beach. Largo Mar is an older but nicely kept resort with pool and hot tub but instead of monsterous condos along the beach it is 3 story townhouses. We could literally step out of the door and 3 steps later were on the beach! Largo Mar is near the end of Thomas Dr so it is quieter but still easily within driving distance to about anything you want. The staff was very nice and helpful but the unit itself needed some attention. Nothing terrible but lots of little problems. Cheap furniture, broken drawers, broken blinds, lights out, tiny microwave (10-12 person unit), stained ceilings, broken tub tiles, tubs that had been painted and were pealing badly, etc.
Loved the complex but will pick a nicer unit next time.

We have been winter guests (January, February amd March) in unit 139 for the past fourteen years. It is our home away from home. The owners continually update the unit with top-of-the line furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with all your cooking needs. The unit is extremely well maintained and is always very very clean, with good quality linens. This unit has the best view of the gulf of any of the one and two bedroom units.........and incredible sunsets! We have visited most of the two bedroom units at Largo Mar, and this is one of the very best. We do not hesitate for one second in recommending this unit for your vacation stay. Anne & Harry

This complex does not have any rules regarding babies in the swimming pool, and because of that, in the last week, the pool was closed over 3 times due to an infant pooping in the pool. I understand the safety regulations that the company is complying by closing it, however, after this same problems happens 3 times in two days, post someone from the company at the pool and remind the guests with infants that are not potty trained that they are not allowed at the pool. Better yet, do NOT allow NON-potty trained children in the pool at all. Because of the idiotically of this whole situation, I had to listen to my son cry with disappointment because he got to swim for 5 minutes, then the pool was closed for a second time today!!!! We are staying as guests of owners at this property, and you can bet that they will be made aware as well as anyone else that asks of our experience.
